Iron Boots Lasts (in progress)

Godfather-Anatomical Last

Models : M917 and Infratry

Toe Shape & Space: Anatomical, generous toe space (horizontal) - more toe spring

Overall Volume : Medium

Instep: Medium

Heel Grip: Medium-Tight

Arch Support : Medium

This last is original designed with inspiration from heritage M43 boots and paratrooper boots made in WWII. It features a wide toe box and a more anatomical toe shape, which follows the natural shape of the foot, just like the M43 last. But it features more toe spring and better heel grip. The arch support is tuned down a bit, keeps the classic 2.5cm heel-to-toe drop found in traditional military and American heritage boots. It also helps control awkward creasing, with a forgiving flex point for your ball.

TCO Last

Models : The Chosen One, The Chosen One Shoe, The Chosen Dog

Toe Shape & Space: Wide, generous toe space (vertical + horizontal)

Overall Volume : Generous

Instep: High

Heel Grip: Medium

Arch Support : Medium

It is derived from a dress-shoe last but is expanded with extra volume to make the fit generous enough. It has a wide toe box for comfort, and provides secure heel grip and decent arch support. The TCO last is also one of the high-instep lasts (along with Devil Dog), meaning it has extra volume over the instep.

Devil Dog

Models : Devil Dog, Devil Dog Shoe, FLT

Toe Shape & Space: Almond shape, generous toe space (vertical)

Overall Volume : Generous

Instep: High

Heel Grip: Medium

Arch Support : Medium

It is basically the same as TCO last with only a more almond-shaped toe. The Devil Dog last is also one of the high-instep lasts with a generous fit, providing a comfortable balance of instep height, heel hold, and forefoot space.

Logger Last

Models : Five Ram Boot and Iron Dragon

Toe Shape & Space: Wide, generous toe space (vertical + horizontal)

Overall Volume : Generous

Instep: Medium - High

Heel Grip: Medium

Arch Support : High

It has a wide, roomy toe box with extra vertical space for the toes. This last also features a slightly lower instep compared to the high-instep TCO last. It’s a high-arched last that provides more arch support and a more pronounced heel-to-toe drop (higher heel) than others, giving it a classic logger boot stance with excellent arch support.

M43 Last (new version)

Models : The Great Escape and 5515

Toe Shape & Space: Anatomical, generous toe space (horizontal)

Overall Volume : Medium

Instep: Medium - High

Heel Grip: Medium

Arch Support : Medium-High

This last is original designed with inspiration from heritage M43 boots and paratrooper boots made in WWII. It features a wide toe box and a more anatomical toe shape, which follows the natural shape of the foot. It also has great heel grip and arch support, and a comfortable, balanced volume for everyday wear.

Iron Monster Last

Models : Iron Monster

Toe Shape & Space: Wide, generous toe space (vertical + horizontal)

Overall Volume : Generous

Instep: Medium

Heel Grip: Medium

Arch Support : Medium

Iron Monster last is inspired by the boot worn by Pazu in the Castle in the Sky. It is shaped similarly to the M43 last but with a slightly rounder toe shape. The toe box is a touch narrower but thicker (more vertical space). For sizing, we recommend choosing the same size as M43 or TCO last.

Pitman Last (new version)

Models : Pitman

Toe Shape & Space: Wide, generous toe space (vertical + horizontal)

Overall Volume : Generous

Instep: High

Heel Grip: Medium

Arch Support : High

Pitman last features a distinct and purposeful toe spring, which improves walking comfort by promoting a natural roll with each step. It has a rounded full toe, with generous space vertically and laterally. It is a high-arched last that provides great arch support and a greater heel-to-toe drop (higher heel), ample internal volume.

Note : the new Pitman last is longer than the old version, making it similar length comparing with our TCO or M43 last.
