Inspired by the golden era of 1930s–40s leather sportswear, the Escaping Wind jacket references early American straight-zip riding jackets — rebuilt with modern construction, while staying true to the pure functional lines of that period.

Design is faithful to period detail — curved sleeve patterning, slanted hand pockets, half-belt waist, and shoulder gussets for ease of movement. The lines create a strong athletic silhouette without excess bulk.

This jacket is cut from 1.4mm Italian Guidi horsehide — dense, full-grain, substantial. There are two colour options to let you pick your journey:

Brown starts as a warm cognac tone and gradually darkens with wear
Black brings the most classic vibe, builds a deep shine over time, revealing its natural, dense, and substantial texture

Inside is a cotton twill lining with an internal pocket, signed with the Lil Monster Overalls woven label.

About Lil Monster Overalls

Lil Monster Overalls (Lil Monster) is a private Chinese denim brand owned and operated by Dong, who is a good friend of Kai and also a big fan of Iron Boots. Dong is a big denimhead since 2006, and obviously he has hundreds of denims (unfortunately his collection is stopped by his wife many years ago). He was a breeder (hence the brand name and logo), and he decided to start Lil Monster in 2019.

Lil Monster is run all by himself. He is a designer and he designed every single Lil Monster denim, which is also what he feels most proud of. You will find a lot of interesting design details in every single denim of Lil Monster.

Return Policy

All Made To Order (MTO) items can NOT returnable / refundable, including GMTO orders, Ostmo X Iron Boots orders, Lil Monster orders with customized size. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

For GMTO / Østmo X Iron Boots Drop, orders will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. We will close this out before this leather run out. After they are closed, we generally don't take those orders again.

7 days cooling off period
If you have ordered a MTO/ GMTO / Østmo X Iron Boots Drop item, you have 7 days after placing the order to change the configuration. You will be responsible for the additional cost on certain configurations. Your order will be locked 7 days after you placed the order, meaning no changes is allowed after that, because your order is put through our production pipeline.
