This cargo trouser is inspired by a vintage tactical cargo trouser, built for guys who want the utility of a work pant without giving up the character of raw fabric. Cut with a high rise and a relaxed straight leg, it splits the difference between an American workwear trouser and a vintage chore pant — roomy through the seat and thigh, running straight down to a drawstring hem you can cinch over boots or leave loose over sneakers.

The fabric is a hemp-cotton blend woven in Japan, left raw and unwashed so it keeps that dry, slightly stiff hand straight off the bolt. The hemp content gives it more texture and breathability than a straight cotton denim, and it will soften and fade with wear the way any good raw fabric does, just with a nubbier, more textured face.

This is where the pant earns its "cargo" name: two roomy flap pockets sit high on the outer thighs, gusseted enough to carry a phone or notebook without ballooning out, each closed with a natural corozo (nut) button through a leather-reinforced tab. The same tan leather triangles reinforce the corners of the front slash pockets, coin pocket, and back pockets — a nod to the arcuate-and-rivet reinforcement on old five-pocket workwear, done here in stitched leather instead of copper. Every button on the pant, not just the pockets, is natural corozo rather than metal or plastic.

The back carries two more flap pockets mirroring the front detailing, and every pocket closes with the same button-and-tab system — no zippers anywhere on the piece. The drawstring hem is the most modern touch on an otherwise heritage-leaning pant: pull it tight and the leg opening narrows enough to tuck into work boots; leave it loose and the leg falls straight with a slightly wide opening.

Fits true to size through the waist and seat — check the size chart below for exact waist, hip, thigh, and hem measurements. Inseam runs a consistent 80cm (about 31.5") unhemmed across every size, so budget for a hem or rely on the drawstring to shorten the break.
